Jon, Zach, and Nichole headed away from the snowy mid-atlantic and toward the sunny Florida coast for the 49th annual Rolex 24 at Daytona this past weekend. Work tasks included timing & scoring as well as event marketing and of course photography. Pics have been posted here (dslr) and here (iphone/gopro.) The new season is now officially underway!
The 2011 NASA Mid-Atlantic Autocross season kicked off yesterday at Virginia Motorsports Park. 70+ drivers got 5+ runs each on a quick and fun ~60sec course. Weather was sunny but 35 degrees and breezy, which caused all kinds of problems (including but not limited to lack of traction and uncooperative timing equipment.) It was great fun regardless!
